given;x-3 is a factor of 3xsquare-11x+k:so, x=3

now; according to factor theorem

or,3x^2 -11x+k=0

or,3*3^2-11*3+k=0

or,3*9-33+k=0

or,27-33+k=0

or,-6+k=0

or,k=6
