Answer:

for infinite solutions, A1/a2=b1/b2= c1/c2

so, 2/6=3/k= -5/-15

now, 1/3=3/k=1/3

thus, k=9

as 3/9=1/3

hope this helps

 \huge \boxed{ \fcolorbox{white}{pink}{Answer}}

2x + 3y = 5................(i)

a = 2 \: b = 3 \: c =  - 5

6x + ky - 15 = 0.............(ii)

a = 6 \: b = k \: c =  - 15

 \frac{a1}{a2}  =  \frac{2}{6}

 \frac{b1}{b2}  =  \frac{3}{k}

 \frac{c1}{c2}  =  \frac{ - 5}{ - 15}

 \frac{a1}{a2}  =  \frac{b1}{b2}  =  \frac{c1}{c2}

 =  >  \frac{2}{6}  =  \frac{3}{k}  =  \frac{ - 5}{ - 15}

  =  > \frac{1}{3}  =  \frac{3}{k}

 =  > k = 3 \times 3

 =  > k = 9
