 Compare \: given \: Quadratic \: equation

 2kx^{2} + 6x + 5 = 0 \:with \: ax^{2}+bx+c=0

 we \:get

 a = 2k , b = 6 \:and \: c = 5

 Discreminant (D) = 0

 \blue{( Given \: roots \:are \:equal )}

 \implies b^{2} - 4ac = 0

 \implies 6^{2} - 4 \times 2k \times 5 = 0

 \implies -40k = -36

 \implies k = \frac{-36}{-40}

 \implies k = \frac{9}{10}

Therefore.,
