Heya !!!

Given that,

5/2 is one zero of the given polynomial 2X² -8X - M.

P(X) = 2X² - 8X - M = 0

P(5/2) = 0

2 × (5/2)² - 8 × 5/2 - M = 0

2 × 25/4 - 20 - M = 0

25/2 - 20 - M = 0

25 - 40 - 2M = 0

-2M - 15 = 0

-2M = 15

M = -15/2
