Heya !!
==================================
A(5m, 3)----------P(4, -2)----------B(-m, -7)
By Mid-Point section theorem
(x, y) = (x2+x1) / 2 , (y2+y1) / 2
(4, -2) = [ (-m + 5m) / 2 , (-7 + 3) / 2 ]
=> (4, -2) = [ (4m/2) , (-4/2) ]
=> (4, -2) = ( 2m , -2 )
So, 4 = 2m
=> m = 4/2
=> m = 2
==================================
Hop my ans.'s satisfactory.☺
