p( x) = {x}^{3} - m {x}^{2} + 11x - 6 \\ since \: (x - 1) \: is \: a \: factor \: of \: p(x) \\ p(1) = 0 \\ (1) ^{3} - m(1) ^{2} + 11(1) - 6 = 0\\ 1 - m + 11 - 6 = 0 \\ - m + 6 = 0 \\ m = 6
