Hii friend,

X+4 = 0

X = -4

P(X) =0

X²+3X+M = 0

P(-4) = 0

=> (-4)² + 3 × -4 + M

=> 16 -12+M = 0

=> M +4 = 0

=> M = -4

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.... :-)

Hey!!!

__________

Given,

let p(x) = x² + 3x + m

=> (x + 4) is a factor of p(x)

Then

=> (-4) is a zero of p(x)

=> p(-4) = 0

=> (-4)² + 3(-4) + m = 0

=> 16 - 12 + m = 0

=> 4 + m = 0

=> m = -4

__________

Hope this helps ✌️
