Answer: m= -2

Step-by-step explanation:

let p(x)=8xpower4+4xpower3-16xpower2+10x+m and g(x)=2x-1

now g(x)=2x-1

2x-1=0

x=1/2

if g(x) is a facfor of p(x),then p(1/2)must be 0

thus,p(1/2)=0

8(1/2)power4+4(1/2)power3-16(1/2)power2+10(1/2)+m=0

8/16+4/8-16/4+5+m=0

1/2+1/2-4+5+m=0

1+1+m=0

m= -2
