 {( \frac{2}{3}) }^{5}  \times  {( \frac{2}{3} )}^{4}  =  {( \frac{2}{3}) }^{3n - 3}  \\  \\  { (\frac{2}{3}) }^{(5 + 4)}  =  {( \frac{2}{3} )}^{3n - 3}  \\  \\ bases \: are \: same \: \:  \:  \:  so \: exponents \: \\  are \: equal \:  \\  \\ 3n - 3 = 9 \\  \\ 3n = 12 \\  \\ n = 4
