Find the value of n if 2 ²n-4 = 64n-6

2n^2-64n+2=0

n^2-32n+1=0

Using quadratic formula

i.e.

x=(-b±√b^2-4ac)/2a

=(32±√1020)2

=(32±2√255)2

therefore

x=16+√255

or x=16-√255
