 \frac{1}{ \sqrt{5 +  \sqrt{2} } }  \: rationalise \\  =  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{5} +  \sqrt{2}  }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{5}  -  \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{5} -  \sqrt{2}  }  \\   =  \frac{ \sqrt{5}  -  \sqrt{2} }{( \sqrt{5} ) - ( \sqrt{2}  )} \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{5}  -  \sqrt{2} }{5 - 2}   \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{5}  -  \sqrt{2} }{3}
