pq= 3

p^2-q^2=8

p= 3/q

put value in equation

3/q^2 - q^2 =8

9/q^2-q^2 =8

(9-q^4)/q^2 =8

9-q^4 = 8q^

Now from this equation find the value of p and q

p^2-q^2=8

pq=3

q=3/p

sub value of q

p^2-(3/p)^2=8

p^2-9/p^2=8

let p^2=t

t^2-8t-9 =0

on solving t=9 or-1

-1 rejected as square of any no. can't be negative

p^2=9

p=3or -3

and q=3/p

q= -1 or 1
