Given Eq :

•f(x) = 3x² -p√3x + 4 = 0

The above eq and no real roots i.e D < 0

means D (-ve)

To Find :

•Value of p

Solution :

a = 3 ; b = -p√3 ; c = 4

\sf \: D = {b}^{2} - 4ac \\ \\ \sf D = (-p \sqrt{3})² - 4(3) (4) \\ \\ \sf = 3p²-48 < 0 \\ \\ \sf = 3p² < 48 \\ \\ \sf = p² < 16 \\ \\ \sf \: \pink{ \sqrt{16} = 4 = p}
