Find the value of p for which 2p-1, 5p+3, 11 are the first three terms of a linear sequence

Answer:

p= 1/2

Solution:-

Given

First term= 2p-1

Second term= 5p+3

Third term= 11

We know

Second term= ( first+third)/ 2

= > 5p+3= ( 2p-1+11)/2

=> 10p+6= 2p+10

=> p= 1/2
