find the value of p for which one root of the quadratic equation p x square - 14 x + 8 is equal to zero is 6​

Px2 - 14x + 8 = 0

One root = 6

So, p(6)² - 14(6) + 8 = 0

36p - 84 + 8 = 0

36p - 76 =0

36p = 76

p = 76/36

p = 19/9
