Find the value of 'p' for which the polynomial =:
![2x {}^{4 } + 3x {}^{3} + 2px {}^{2} + 3x + 6 2x {}^{4 } + 3x {}^{3} + 2px {}^{2} + 3x + 6](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=2x+%7B%7D%5E%7B4+%7D++%2B+3x+%7B%7D%5E%7B3%7D++%2B++2px+%7B%7D%5E%7B2%7D++%2B+3x+%2B+6)
Is divisible by =:
![(x + 2) (x + 2)](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=%28x+%2B+2%29)

Answer:
X+2=0
X=-2
Put,X=2 in the polynomial P(X)
=>2(-2)^4+3(-2)^3+2p(-2)^2+3(-2)+6=0
=>32-24+8p-6+6=0
=>8+8p=0
=>p=1
Thus,
if the value of P =1 than the polynomial P(X) is divisible by (X+2)
Hope it helps you
