p(-4)=(-4)^2-2(-4)-(7p+3)
=16+8-7p-3
=-7p+21
p(-4) =0
-7p+21=0
7p=21
p=3

Answer

 \sf{If -4  \: is \:  zero  \: of  \: given \:  polynomial  \: then} \\  \\(−4)2−2(−4)−(7p+3)=0 \\  \\ ⇒16+8−7p−3=0 \\  \\ ⇒7p=21 \\  \\ ⇒p=3
