find the value of p if one of the root of quadratic equation 5x² + (3p+2)x + 15 = 0 is 5​

Given x=5,

Putting x=5 in the given equation..

5(5)²+(3p+2)(5)+15=0

=> 5(25)+15p+10+15=0

=> 125+15p+25=0

=> 15p+150=0

=> 15p= -150

=> p=\frac{-150}{15}

=> p= -10
