AB = 10
AB² = (10)² = 100
(X2-X1)² + (Y2-Y1)² = 100
( 2 - 8 )² + ( -7 - P)² = 10
(-6)² + (-7)² + (P)² - 2 × -7 × P = 100
36 + 49 + P² + 14P = 100
P² + 14P = 100- 85
P² + 14P - 15 = 0
P²+ 15P - P - 15 = 0
P ( P + 15) - 1 ( P + 15) = 0
(P + 15) ( P -1) = 0
P = -15 OR P = 1
