Find the value of p,if the number x,2x+p,3x+6 are three consecutive terms of an ap​

Solution

There condition in A.P is that middle double is equal to the sum of two other terms in AP

x, 2x+P, 3x+6

2(2x+p)=x+3x+6

4x+2p=4x+6

2p=6

p=3..Ans
