Find the value of 'p' if the roots of equation : px² - (2p-2)x+p = 0 has equal real roots

let,a=p,. b=-(2p-2) and c=p

now, D=b²-4ac

sinc,here root is equal and real

then,D=0=b²-4ac

. 0=(-2p+2)²-4p²

0=4p²+4-8p-4p²

0=4p²-4p²+4-8p

0=4-8p

8p=4

p=4\8=1\2

hence,p=1\2
