find the value of p if the solution of 3x+ py = 13 and 6x- y= 4 are unique​

Answer:

6x-y =4 (given)

6x =4+y

3x =2+y/2 (divide by two both sides )

put this value of 3x in eq. (i)

2 + y/2+p(2+y/2) =13

2 + y/2 ( 1+p )=13 ( taking 2+y/2 common )

by hit and trial method assume values of y and p because y

and p have unique solution...

let's assume the value....

y = 22 and p =0..

hence it has a unique solution...
