g(x)=0

x-1=0

x=1

Putting X=1 in p(x)=4x³+3x²-px-3=0

p(1)=4(1)³+3(1)²-p×1-3=0

4+3-p-3=0

4-p=0

-p=-4

p=4.

Hence, the value of p=4.

if x-1 is a factor then it means if we pit the value ‘1’ in place of x, the sum will be 0
This means
4*1^3+3*1^2-p*1-3=0
4+3-p-3=0
4-p=0
p=4
