Find the value of p if x-3y-5=0 and px-6y-7=0 represent s line?

Given:

x - 3y - 5 = 0 ........................(i)

px - 6y - 7 = 0.......................(ii)

Slope of equation (i), m1 = 1 / 3

Slope of equation (ii), m2 = p / 6

Since, they represent line. Slope are equal.

        1 / 3 = p / 6

p = 2
