Find the value of p in each case:
(a) (-3)^p+1 × (-3)^5= (-3)^7​

Answer: (-3)^p+1 × (-3)^5= (-3)^7

(-3)^(p+1+5)= (-3)^7

(-3)^(p+6)= (-3)^7

On comparing,

p+6 = 7

p = 1
