Here,

a = p, b = 8, c = 10 and d = 16

Now, by putting the necessary values

$\dfrac{p}{8} = \dfrac{10}{16}$

By cross multiplying

☛ 16 × p = 8 × 10

☛ 16p = 80

☛ p = 5

∴ $\textbf{The value of p is 5}$
