The value of p and q can be any of the integers which gives you the decimal value is the rational number only.

Rational numbers are the numbers which can be expressed in the p by q form where the p and q are the integers and the value of q can never be equal to zero.

So here the infinite value of p and q are possible for which the fraction p/q gives you the rational number.

Some of the examples are:

2 and 3

2/3 = 0.666 which is a rational number

7 and 4

7/4 = 1.75 which is also a rational number
