1st term = (3p + 7)

2nd term = (2p + 5)

3rd term = (2p + 7)

As they are AP

=> (2p + 5) - (3p + 7) = (2p + 7) - (2p + 5)

=> 2p + 5 - 3p - 7 = 2p + 7 - 2p - 5

=> -p - 2 = 2

=> -p = 2 + 2

=> p = -4
