6. x – 2y = 6

3x – 6y = 0

Solution:

Given,

x – 2y = 6……. (i)

3x – 6y = 0……. (ii)

For equation (i),

⇒ y = (x – 6)/2

When x = 2, we have y = (2 – 6)/2 = -2

When x = 0, we have y = (0 – 6)/2 = -3Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We solve for y:

⇒ y = x/ 2

So, when x = 0

y = 0/2 = 0

And, when x = 2

⇒ y = 2/2 = 1
