(X-1) is a factor of the polynomial X³+10X²+PX.
X-1 = 0
X = 1
P(X) = X³+10X²+PX.
P(1) = (1)³ + 10 × (1)² + P × 1
=> 1 + 10 + P = 0
=> P +11 = 0
=> P = -11.
