Solution :

given :

p(t) = (t-1) (t - 2) (t-3)

t = -1

To find :

The value

Solution :

p(t) = (-1 - 1) (-1 - 2) (-1 - 3)

= -2 x -3 x -4

= -2 x 12

= -24

=> The answer is -24

Extra information :

polynomial function : a polynomial function in variable x with degree n is defined as polynomial function

Ex.

p(x) = a_n x^n , a_n - 1 x^n - 1 ,a_n - 2 x^n - 2, a_n- 3 x^n-3 .............a_0

Step-by-step explanation:

p(t) = (t-1) (t-2) (t-3)

if we put t = -1,

p(-1) = (-1 -1) (-1 -2) ( -1 -3)

= (-2) (-3) (-4)

= -24
