We know that,
If Discriminent = 0, the equation has equal roots
=> b^2 - 4ac = 0
=> (-5)^2 - 4(p)(p) = 0
=> 25 = 4p^2
=> p^2 = 25/4
Values of p are 5/2 and - 5/2
We know that,
If Discriminent = 0, the equation has equal roots
=> b^2 - 4ac = 0
=> (-5)^2 - 4(p)(p) = 0
=> 25 = 4p^2
=> p^2 = 25/4
