Take x = 0

♥ P(0) = - 4(0)² + 5 x 0 + 3

= 3

Take x = 1

♥ P(1) = - 4(1)² + 5 x 1 + 3

= - 4 + 5 + 3

= 1 + 3

= 4

when x=0 ( given )

Put the value of x in eq. (i)

5(0) - 4(0){ {}^{2} }   + 3

answer = 3

when, x = - 1

Put the value of x in eq. (i)

5( - 1) - 4( - 1) {}^{2}  + 3
