Answer:

potential difference ,V = 100v.

current, I =2A.

according to ohms law.

v=IR.

100=2×R.

R= 50 ohms....

.( this is the total resistance not that value of R about which asked in question)

now calculate resistance in circuit.

two of resisters are parallel, so...

1/r+1/r =1/R.

1/r +1/10. =1/R.

10+r/10= R.

so now all resistors are in series

.

and total resistance was 50 ohms.

(10+r/10)+10.=50

(10+r+100 )/10=50.

10 +r +100 =500.

10+r = 400.

r = 400-10.

hence value of r about asked in question is 390
