 = sec {}^{2}  \: 30 {}^{0}  - tan {}^{2} \: 60 {}^{0}

 = ( \frac{1}{2}  { ) }^{2}  - ( \sqrt{3}  {)}^{2}

 =  \frac{1}{4}  - 3

 =  \frac{1 - 12}{4}

 =  \frac{ - 11}{4}

Answer:-9/4

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. sec30=root2/3 & tan60=root3
  2. sec^2 30=2/9 and tan^2 60=3
  3. sec^2 30-tan^ 60=2/9-3=-25/9
