ANSWER

cosx =  \frac{1(b)}{2(h)}

Base is 1

hypotenuse is 2

we apply Pythagoras theorem:-

 {(H)}^{2}  =  {B}^{2}  +  {P}^{2}

 {2}^{2}  =  {1}^{2}  +  {P}^{2}

 {P}^{2}  = 4 - 1 = 3

P =  \sqrt{3}

Now finding sinx

sinx =  \frac{P}{H}  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}
