In this question, we will use the relationship between the trigonometric ratios to obtain the value of A.

Given that Cos 3A = Sin45°

Then by this relationship we can get value of 3 A.:

Cos (x) = Sin (90-x)

Applying this in the question we have :

Sin 45° = Cos (90° - 45°)

Thus 3A = 45°

A = 15°

2A = 15 × 2 =30

tan 30 = 1/√3

Hope this helps....
