Find the value of tan theta if sin theta=3/5

sin theta = 3/5

or, perpendicular/ hypotenuse= 3/5

now, by using Pythagoras theorem,

or, (perpendicular)^2 + ( base)^2 = ( hypotenuse)^2

or, (3)^2 + ( base)^2 = (5)^2

or, 9 + ( base)^2 = 25

or, ( base) ^2 = 25-9

or, ( base)^2 = 16

or, (base) =√16

or, base = 4

now, as we know

tan theta = perpendicular/ base

= 3/4

Answer= 3/4
