Trigonometric values :-

:\implies\:\rm{tan \:45 = 1 \:and\: cot\:30=\sqrt{3} }

Substituting the values :-

:\implies\:\rm{tan^245+cot^230}

:\implies\:\rm{(tan 30)^2+(cot 45)^2}

:\implies\:\rm{(1)^2+(\sqrt{3} )^2}

:\implies\:\rm{1+3}

:\implies\:\rm{4}

∴ The value of the expression is 4.
