x = 15°

∠y = 178°

∠z = 178°

∠13° - x = ∠x - 17°                                       [∴Vertical opposite angle]

13° + 17° = x + x

30° = 2x

x = 15°

Now,

according to the Linear pair Axiom

∠y + ∠x - 17° = 180°

∠y + 15 - 17 = 180                                             [∵on putting the value of x]

∠y + 2 = 180°                                                      

∠y = 180 - 2

∠y = 178°

∠y = ∠z = 178°                                    [∴Vertical opposite angle]

so,

∠z = 178°
