Answer:

√5x^2-x-5=ax^2-bx+c.

a=√5, b=-1,c=-5

discriminant = b^2-4ac

=(-1)^2-4(√5)(-5)

=1+20√5

Answer:

 \sqrt{5}  {x}^{2}  - x -  \sqrt{5}  = 0 \\ here \:  \\ a =  \sqrt{5} \:  \: b =  - 1 \:  \:  \: c =  -  \sqrt{5}  \\ now \\ discriminant \:  =  {b}^{2}  - 4 ac \\  =   {( - 1)}^{2}  - 4 \times  \sqrt{5}  \times ( -  \sqrt{5} ) \\  = 1 - 4 \sqrt{5}  \times ( -  \sqrt{5} ) \\  = 1 + 4 \times 5 \\  = 1 + 20 \\  = 21

Hope it helps you.
