find the value of the discriminant of the quadratic equation root 3x²+2root 2x-2root 3=0​

3x²+2√2x-2√3

Comparing given equation with ax²+bx+c = 0 ,
=> a = 3 ; b = 2√2 ; c = -2√3

Discriminant = b²- 4ac = (2√2)² - 4(3)(-2√3)
= (4 x 2) - 12(-2√3)
= 8 + 24√36
= 8 + 24 x 6
= 8 + 144 = 152 (answer)
