a. m+7

= 2+7

= 9

b. m+n-(m-n)

= 2-2-2-2

= -4

c. 7m^2+n-13

= 28+(-2-13)

= 28-2-13

= 28-15

= 13

\huge\underline\mathbb\blue{Solution:}

a. m + 7

put m=2

⟹2 + 7

⟹9

b. m + n - ( m - n)

put m = 2 & n = -2

⟹ 2 + (-2) - {2 - (-2)}

⟹(2 - 2) (2 + 2 )

⟹0 - 4

⟹ -4

c. - 7m^2 + n - 13

put m = 2 & n = - 2

⟹ - 7 (2)^2 + ( - 2) - 13

⟹ - 7 * 4 - 2 - 13

⟹- 28 -2 -13

⟹43

\bf\green{FINDING \:THE \:VALUE\: AN \\ ALGEBRAIC \:EXPRESSION}

We have seen that an algebraic expression contains one or more variables and each of these variables can take values. Thus, whehvrgese variables take a value, the expression will also get a value. This means that the values of an expression depend on the value of variables.
