a = (-2) , b = 3
1. 3a - 2b = 3(-2) - 2(3)
= -6 - 6
= -12
2. a2 + 3a + 2 = (-2) 2 + 3 (-2) + 2
= -4 + (-6) + 2
= -4 - 6 + 2
= -10 + 2
= -8
