i think you want to find the total surface area

In ABC, LB=90°

therefore AB²+ BC²= AC²

AC²=(6cm²)+(8cm)²

AC²= 36cm²+64cm²

AC= √100cm²= 10cm

Now area of ∆ ABC= 1/2(b.h)

= 1/2(8cm×6cm)

= 4cm×6cm=24cm²

since there are 2 faces of ∆ ABC

area= 2×24cm²= 48cm²

On the first rectangle with (AC) b= 10cm; l= 12cm

area= l.b = 12cm×10cm= 120cm²

2nd rect with base AB b= 6cm; l= 12cm

area= 12cm× 6cm= 72cm²

3rd side with BC b= 8cm and l= 12cm

area= 12cm×8cm= 96cm²

Now TSA= 48cm²+120cm²+72cm²+96cm²

= 336cm²
