Given AP   -11 ,-7,-3 ............49

 Here's  

a = -11  Last term = 49

Common Difference = (-7) -( -11)  ==> 4  l = a + (n-1) d

 ♦ ♦ Step II ( putting the value in the formula ) ♦ ♦  

49 = -11 +(n-1) 4

 49 + 11 = (n-1) ×4  

60 = ( n-1 ) × 4  60/4 = n-1  

15 = n -1  

n = 15 +1  

n = 16

There are two middle  term of AP 8th term and 9th term

The middle term of AP IS 8

$a_{8}$ = a + 7d

= (-11) + 7 (4)

= 17

 The middle term of an AP is 9  

a_9= a +8d
