( ii ) →

p(1) = 2.1³-3.1²+4.1-1

= 2 - 3 + 4 - 1

= 6 - 4

= 2

( iii ) →

p(2) = 2.2³-3.2²+4.2-1

= 2 . 8 - 3. 4 + 8 - 1

= 16 - 12 + 8 -1

= 24 - 13
