2y^2 -8y +1

when y = 2
2(2)^2 - 8(2) + 1

\textbf{Solution:}

p(y) = 2y^2 - 8 y + 1

p(2) = 2 × (2)^2 - 8 × 2 + 1

p(2) = 8 - 16 +1

p(2) = 9 - 16

p(2) = \textbf{-7}

\textbf{Thank you!!}
