Answer:

The value of a polynomial obtained on putting a particular value of the variable is called the value of the polynomial.

p(x) = 5x 4x² + 3

On putting x=0 ,

p(0) = 5(0) – 4(0)² + 3

= 0 – 0 + 3 =3

= 3

ii)(x) = 5x – 4x² + 3

On putting x= -1,

p(-1) = 5(-1) – 4(-1)²+ 3

= -5 – 4(1) + 3

= -5 – 4 + 3= -9 + 3= -6

= -6

iii)p(x) = 5x – 4x² + 3

On putting x=2

p(2) = 5(2) – 4(2)² + 3

= 10 – 16 + 3 = -6 + 3

= -3

Answer:

Here is ur answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Given polynomial 5x−4x^2+3

(i) If x=0

Then 5(0)−4(0)^2+3=0−0+3=3

(ii) If x=−1

Then 5(−1)−4(−1)^2+3=−5−4+3=−6

(iii) If x=2

Then 5(2)−4(2)^2+3=10−16+3=−3
