Answer :

Polynomial -> 5x - 4x² + 3

= 4x² - 5x + 3

When x=2,

Polynomial = 4(2)² - 5(2) + 3

= 4×4 - 10 + 3

= 19 - 10

= 9

When x = - 1,

Polynomial = 4(-1)² - 5(-1) + 3

= 4×1 + 5 + 3

= 12

Hope it helps

Step-by-step explanation:

Let p(x) = 5x -4x^2+3

for x = 2

p(2) = 5 ×2 -4 (2) ^2+3

= 10 - 4×4+3

= 10-16+3

= -3

for x = -1

p(-1) = 5(-1) - 4(-1)^2+3

= -5 - 4×1+3

= -9+3

= -6

hope this will helpful.
